How many of these type of thoughts are present thoughts? None of these are happening in the here and now. Sure you might want to practice in the present preparing for a meeting tomorrow, but have faith that when the time comes you will be more than capable of handling in the moment it is actually happening. Worries about our kids is a biggie. I was the biggest worry wart in the world and I know first hand how it can wreak havoc on the body. Nothing I worried about came true. It was perceived dangers and worries. The old famous, "What if"
If we can trust our path and whatever it holds, we can handle it all. Sometimes it seems as if all our prayers have been answered and sometimes it feels as though everything is falling apart, but if we can believe that every experience contains gifts that we can learn from, then we can move onto another chapter. In all lives there will be peaks and valleys. When we stay present, we can reap all the benefits that each one is meant to give.
Life isn't lucky for some and unlucky for some. Some just learn from their experiences quicker and try to move through them by staying present and asking, "What can I learn from this?" Some people aren't even aware there are gifts and lessons to be learned and so they go ignored and repeat the same experiences over and over. When we don't ask the bigger questions; we keep having to repeat the experience.
