Life Would Never Be the Same.

She knew her life would never be the same.  The part she once played with the partner she loved was now gone.  In her despair her heart cried out. She missed her old life and the love they shared.

One night she pleaded for answers and surrendered to the emotions.  A voice within her could be heard.  She recognized this voice, it was familiar and strong.  It knew things she had forgotten.  All she could do now was listen.

She could not make things go back to the way they were.  She realized she had a choice.  She could keep the love they shared and move forward with trust.  Trust in the change and the new path that was now before her.

Deep down she knew something bigger was actually happening.  She was growing stronger in spirit everyday.  With every choice she made; she grew.  Every time she let go and found acceptance in where she was right now; she grew.  Resistance only weakened her, although she sure gave it a good try.

Letting go let more light through and it shined on her new path lighting the way.  She started to feel excited and scared at the same time.  Change was never easy for her, but the resistance was making her weak, so she had no choice but to allow change to come.

As she followed the light and opened up to a new way of life she felt a confidence rising within her. She began to lift her eyes back to the sky and held her head up with and confidence and trust.  Her heart opened up once more.  The love within her grew more than she could ever have imagined.

She took a deep breath and with trust firmly planted in her heart, she took a step onto the beautiful well lit path before her.   <3
