Moving Forward

Moving forward and making decisions can be a scary process, but only when we keep looking back and thinking to ourselves, "What if I had done that instead"  When moving forward, see yourself on a ONE WAY path, there is no looking back.  Just stay focused on the journey in front of you and see what it has to offer and know that every decision, every path has new opportunities awaiting you.  There are no mistakes once you have chosen a path, take it, accept it.  Don't look back.

Just let go, release the past and move forward.  There is so much to see and do. New loves, joys and choices are always waiting for us.

Sometimes the illusion of security can hold us spellbound, just sitting there dreaming of new adventures, but never stepping out of comfort zone, so those adventures just sit there waiting.  Do you dare give up what you know, to step into the mysterious and wonderful unknown?

It takes great courage to start something new, to venture where you have never gone. Many questions arise with just the very thought of it.  But if we can try not to attach a outcome, just move into it easily and faithfully, trusting in the present moment and our own inner guidance, we will see many wonders that will activate our heart and souls, we will have such amazing journeys.  The wonders will never cease.  The smiles will never fade, discontentment will turn into peaceful moments.

Try this Exercise:

Imagine yourself going down this beautiful path, everything is so green, vibrant and alive.
You feel your body just relax in this environment.  There is no where to rush to, nothing that has to be done, you are just in the moment of now.
You come upon a serene flowing river, you sit on the log to gaze upon the water.  You feel a cool breeze cross your face, you close your eyes and feel at one with nature.  The flow is so natural, so calming.  You take a deep breath, your body just relaxes, the mind is quiet.
Gratitude fills your heart and soul, you know that your past is behind, you are grateful for all that you went through that brought you to this moment.
