Feel Your Spirit Rise

Daily we are faced with the sometimes daunting task of living. It seems that no one cares, that everyone is divided and and we just can't agree on anything. We wake up and set out in a fast paced world which leaves us tired and numb. Sometimes we feel too tired to care or take time to do things that really matter and refresh our soul. Even when we do find we have a little time to ourselves we feel the silence engulf us and we resist it. We still have that fast energy of trying to keep up with the daily grind and so we quickly find something to busy our minds with.

 Quiet time is vital and if used correctly can be your island of peace and joy. It will become the place where everything slows down and you are able to feel refreshed and at peace. You can once again feel a connection to everything and everyone. You may even laugh at some of the little dramas that have played upon your mind and laugh knowing that they really don't matter. It is easy to get caught up at times, but the roles you play everyday are not who you are. This quiet time allows you to reflect upon what is really important in your life. It may not be easy at first because we are just so used to going and going, but be patient. Tell yourself, "I have nothing to do and nowhere I have to be" Start by slowing down the mind and just being present. Look at your surroundings. Go outside and just stare up at the sky. The mind will try to remain active as it thinks about your day at work or a meeting you just had or something someone said, but as you slowly allow it to unwind and take in your current environment, it slows down.

Once the mind slows down, then you can truly focus on your current reality.  You start to tune into the wind, the birds and how you seem to be a part of it all.  The truth is you are a part of all that is and you always will be.  How you feel all depends on where your focus is.  The brain is like a computer what you put in it is what it believes.  Focus on love, focus on healing, focus on abundance and never forget that you control what you choose to think and where you choose to focus.

You can shift; you can do it.  It will take practice at first especially if you have been focusing on negative things happening in the world and within your surroundings.  Visual good happenings and feel your spirit rise.  You can do this.  You are on your way.
