Stop, check thoughts; change.


When you start to feel yourself going down the same path of self-defeating thoughts, try to stop before you get to far along.  Once you have these negative thoughts and they keep swirling in your mind it starts to lower your vibration.  You body begins to think it is in danger or something is wrong.  The body may start to pump out adrenaline and your cortisol levels start to rise.  This can even lead to anxiety or panic attacks.  However, if you can stop them before they start to gain too much momentum, then hopefully you can stop this pattern in the future with practice.

Do what it takes to shift gears, to leave that path of negative thinking behind.  Sometimes it means saying goodbye to things you find yourself doing that you just don't like.  Could be you hang around people that are really not that positive to be around and you always notice you feel worse after being around them.  Don't be afraid to make changes that go with your new positive thoughts and practices.

Once you have really started to master this, you find yourself smiling for no reason at all.  Your sense of humor comes back and you feel a little pep in your step.  Most of us are unwilling to make these changes and we sit in quiet misery like a hamster on a wheel just going through the motions day after day.  Don't just numb all your feeling and hide away from the world.  Let your joy shine.  Know that you are important to this world and everyone around you needs your positivity and compassion.  Once you truly love yourself and treat yourself with kindness; the world seems like a brighter place.

Don't hesitate to make changes now.  You are worth it!!
