Be open to the PRESENT.



Right now, right this minute, just take a deep breath and just let go.  Let go of all the things that have been weighing you down. The worries about this and that.  Just focus on this time right now.  Are you basically okay right now?  Is there any clear and present danger?  Then if your answer is NO, then let it go.  All things of the mind like fear, stress and worry; just let them go. They are either gone in the past, or just a projection of some future event and they are not here with you right now.

The argument you had yesterday with a co-worker at work, that is now over, let it go.  A meeting you have next week, is not now, so know and have faith that when it comes, you will do just fine.  Worry is just an added thing to occupy and distract you from your NOW moments.   Think of all the things that are occupying your mind right now, clean it up.  What can you use in the moment now, what is old and needs to be discarded?  Any thoughts that limit you; send them packing.  Any thoughts that keep you from living your life to the fullest; get rid of them.  Replace them with thoughts that lead you to many possibilities, a life of wonder and surprises.  The best way of doing this is by getting in that flow of NOW.  Because once we start thinking about yesterday, tomorrow or even tonight, (and many of us do all these at the same time) this scatters our energy all over the place until the minds takes over and the thoughts just won't hush up.  We begin to feel overwhelmed until we feel our muscles tense up and we just feel like screaming!!

It is time to teach the mind to stay present, that PRESENCE is really a gift; a wonderful present you can't wait to open because you know that within that present is a gift of peace, love and acceptance.  You are in the flow and being in that flow opens you up to your hearts passions and allows you to see your path more clearly.


This takes practice, but don't give up!!  When you feel the worries start, just say "NO" and focus on something that you can see right now and something you can hear like the birds singing outside.  Bring your focus and intent back on the present moment.  The mind must be controlled and given the right input to the now, this is something new, so have patience and be kind to yourself.  Open that present NOW.  ;)
